Colorfully illustrated with
whimsical quilt designs,
June Bug Days and Firefly Nights
celebrates childhood friendships
and the amazing creatures that live
in and around a small country
town.

Follow along on a hot summer day
as Georgia, her dog June Bug, and
friends Dottie, Augustus, and
Jimmy John go on a big adventure.
Often silly and frequently foolish, author Pamela Grandstaff also writes the
grown-up Rose Hill Mystery Series. This is her first children’s book, created for
her great-nephew Jack.

June Bug is a very good dog in real life; and wherever Pamela goes June Bug goes,
too. The illustrations are taken from quilt patterns Pamela loves to design but is
too lazy to cut out and sew.

New!
Ella has purchased a bright blue
hat that she thinks is beautiful, but
her bad-tempered, disagreeable cat
doesn't like it.

No matter what Ella does to
improve her new hat, by decorating
it with ribbons and buttons, or by
inviting ladybugs to have tea upon
the brim, her cantankerous cat
refuses to approve.

When Ella wears her hat anyway
and has a great time as a result, her
persnickety cat throws a fit and
pouts, but everyone else is having
too much fun to notice.

A humorous reminder that you
can't please everyone so you might
as well please yourself; anyone
who has a persnickety friend or
family member will enjoy this
funny story.
